Workshop history
Two craftsmen who left a furniture factory to build one piece at a time
Forma Woodworks started in 2015 in a garage on Momyshuly Street, with one milling machine and a contract for three kitchens. We deliberately never take on more projects than one crew can carry from sketch to the last hinge — so in ten years we grew a team of craftsmen, not a conveyor belt.

How long does a custom kitchen or wardrobe take?
On average 15–25 days for production plus 3–5 days for measuring and project approval. Complex shapes and solid wood sometimes take longer — we confirm the exact timeline after measuring.

Can the project be adapted to a non-standard layout?
Yes, a measurer visits the site and records every wall and utility deviation — the project is built for your specific room, not squeezed into a standard module.

What materials do you use?
We work with laminated chipboard, enamel-finished MDF, and solid wood. At the consultation we show samples and pick a material for your budget and the piece's purpose.

Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, 24 months on hardware and the frame, 12 months on the finish. With normal use problems rarely come up, but we stay reachable if anything needs adjusting.

How does payment work?
You pay 50% upfront once the project is approved, and the balance after installation and your acceptance of the finished furniture.

Do you deliver outside Almaty?
Yes, we deliver across the region and to neighbouring areas — cost and timing are confirmed when we calculate the quote.

Can I see samples before ordering?
Of course, at the workshop showroom you can touch the materials and hardware and see finished pieces — come by appointment.
